It’s here! We’re thrilled to open the doors of our new online community, a place for all users of Sumo Logic to connect to each other and to us. As our user community grows, we have a unique opportunity to learn from each other by capturing and evolving our collective knowledge. Our hope is that this online space will facilitate information exchange and relationship building, so that you can get more out of your experience with us, and we can all come up with new and interesting solutions together.
Developers working with the Sumo Logic service will also be able to share code, collaborate on open source projects, discuss REST API’s, and get information on Sumo Logic apps for Docker, AWS, or Artifactory. DevOps practitioners are likewise invited invited to share their solutions related to continuous delivery. Check out all the Developer related discussion topics and articles under the Build section in the community.
Getting started
The community will support all users of Sumo Logic. Whether you are an expert user or just getting started, check out what’s already there, showcase your knowledge or ask the community for help. Here are some things you can do:
- Ask your most burning questions and brainstorm solutions
- Help others out by answering their questions and showcase your expertise
- Share tips, queries and code that have worked for you
- Get feedback on what you’re doing
To help you get started, we’ve written this quick Getting Started guide, but if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.
Help us name the community
Now that the community is up, the journey is just beginning. We are hoping that you, our community, will be our co-conspirator and co-collaborator in making it exactly what you want it to be. For our first activity together, we want to choose a name that has meaning to the community. Help us choose a name that best represents the Sumo Logic community to you — and if we use the name, we’ll give you $300! Submit your answers here.
